Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

I know it’s been a while since I’ve been on here.  There have been so many things happening that I could hardly find the time to sleep….literally.  Today I thought I’d talk a bit about what has been going on and possibly share some of my journey with you, so that maybe it can help other mother’s (father’s, sister’s, brother’s, people) know that we are all in this together.

I want to talk about is a catchy little acronym known as CBT or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.   This is a type of therapy that doesn’t just mask those issues within our personalities that cause us to go around unhappy and negative and just Bleh all the time.  This therapy empowers us to make real CHANGE, not just coping mechanisms.  I learned about this therapy a few months back and finally have gotten the chance to sit down and organise myself enough to work with it and myself to see if I can make the happier, positive changes I want to make in my life.  For those of you interested in learning more o starting the journey yourself go to Excel at Life.
